metal or plastic comb in the veil?

so i noticed some veils have metal combs and some have plastic...is there really a difference? will the plastic one not hold as well as the metal?

anyone using a plastic comb?

Mine has a plastic comb. I didn't even know there were different combs on veils.

I think it will hold just as well as a metal comb.

I would talk to the person doing your hair. My hairdresser asked me not to get a comb just loops. It is easier to put in and take out if you decide not to wear the veil for the entire time.

only thing I'm thinking is that the plastic is more breakable than the metal but how often does that happen ya know?

My cousin had a plastic one and it broke trying to get it in her hair before the wedding.

It didnt look right because you were able to see the plastic comb during the ceremony.
