I just found something that said after midnight.

Also, apparently Mars is glowing red and is visible for us in the northeast!

Yep, last night, tonight and tomorrow night. After midnight it will start, but after like 2 is when it will be best. Last night there were just a few shooting stars around midnight. I woke up again at 3 and the sky was all lit up!

The way I do it is I think of where the bay is in relation to my house, and I know then that is south so then it's easy to figure it out from there. Or if you know your house is let's say south of Sunrise - look towards where the highway would be and that is North. You'll figure it out, just think about how you drive.

Oh, and anyway last night you could see it in all directions, so don't stress. It's still early right now though. After 12 you should be able to see a few shooting stars and then it will keep progressing as it gets later.

Jenise, Face the back of your house (north) then look slightly to your right. Thats northeast.

I have to go to the back of my house and there are so many trees at the back. I'll never see it. I should have had my dad get out my brothers telescope.

Me too...it cleared up a little bit, but I still didnt see anything, except three cats fighting in my neigbors yard, and a few huge bugs. I give up.

I saw a few!! It was my seconf Meteor shower. There was one when I was in college. And since I went to college upstate, it's so much easier to spot them because there aren't lights like there are down here... UGH! It was BEAUTIFUL!
