Metropolitan

I went to my friends wedding there about two years ago. She had the ceremony there and the whole day turned out very nice.

However, I hope it is not accurate, because it is predicting storms for my day in September!

I am getting married there in April 2001 I have heard many great things from lots of people!!

2- The dinner is being paid by 1/2 my fi's parents (mostly his family is from out of town), 1/4 my dad and his wife and 1/4 my mom and my step-dad. How should we word the invite without making it sound like a phone book?

I know what you mean! I have heard from several people that have been there for weddings and birthday parties Everyone has said the place is beautiful, the service is wonderful and the food is good I have been warned though when it come to cocktail hour, to stay away from the passed food - the servings are really small

Hey guys! I am getting married at the Metropolitan in November 2000 also. I was actually there this past weekend to check it out again and pick up my direction cards for the invites. Rachel- we had booked with Michael who is actually no longer there but met up with Pam (?) over the weekend. We had initially thought about having a alot of stations too but we were told that the seafood station alone is 6 feet long!!! So now we are considering more passed food so the stations are not taking up the entire room! Anyway, I was excited to see the place again- I love it! I wanted to get some ideas about decorating the cocktail/ceremony room...

I know that it has been said many times on this board before but I'm gonna say it once more. Spin Around Sound. I haven't actually heard them DJ but I got a really good feeling when I met with Tom the owner. Really cool guy, much more in tune with what we wanted than anyone else. He listened and I think he's going to do an excellent job.
