What I am gathering from reading around there is a 'Metropolitan' and a 'Metropolitan Club' but they are in the same place, owned by the same people?
Does anyone know the difference? There isn't too much information on the website and I live in Connecticut so I can't go there whenever I would like. Any information I can get from you girls would be wonderful!

The Metropolitan Club is smaller- the Metropolitan is what is usually used for weddings or larger events- I believe their minimum is 140..
ETA- and yes it is the same facility

I actualey looked at this place for my wedding. The Metropolitan and the club are both in the same building but they have seperate entrances. The picson website are of the Metropolitan with 2 levels...it is for bigger weddings...i'm not sure of the minimum because mine is small so I didn't look. They showed me the club which is smaller, alittle darker.Browns, blacks picture more club/lounge. Very nice. They have a bar/CH area and then a seperated reception room. If you go they will show you a table set. It was nice but i decided to go with the Milleridge Carriage house, just beacuse of the atomesphere I wanted. The person I met with Eileen? was very nice and the place was nice too. Good Luck HTH

I'm going to my tasting this weekend, I really loved the club! We wanted 100 person wedding but assumed we would be 130-150, so we are cutting people & hopefully going w/ th Club
