So, I'm on the express bus this morning, and this adorable (HOTTIE) gets on a few stops after me, and sits directly next to me - remind you, the bus is about 20% full and there are plenty of empty seats where you can sit on your own.
He looks at my shoes, says they're the nicests shoes he's ever seen, and that they have to be expensive - who makes them? (clue #1 he's straight - b/c won't every gay man know who the deisgner is?)
I go on to respond 'Thanks, they're Emilio Pucci.'
He says 'I'll have to look into those. So where do you work, etc....blah blah blah'
Convo goes on throughout the whole bus ride, he works four blocks away from me, gave me his business card, said, 'Let's get together soon - we're neighbors.'
Now...Yes, he knows I'm engaged to be married - so I'm sure it's not a date, and just friendly banter between neighbors at home and at work....
BUT - I can't figure out if he's gay or straight...not like it matters...but...I just can't figure it out.

Isn't Emilio Pucci one of the first designers that they teach you when you come out? That along with Gucci and Versace I think he was straight. The next time you see him, check out his shoes...that'll tell you for sure.
THAT'S WHAT I WAS THINKING....how could any gay man not know who Pucci was....DUH....but then logic kicked in and he doesn't make men's shoes....so why would the gay man know????

Remember that episode of Sex in the City where Charoltte thought the guy was gay bc he knew all the designers she wore etc. And he was actually straight!!

i say straight man with way too much time on his hands...he must be reading up on designers so he can pick up random women with his wealth of knowledge about shoes....sorry, knowing a shoe designer, correction, a WOMAN's shoe designer does not impress me.
