I booked Adventura Spa Palace but I keep hearing bad things about the food so I'm considering booking elsewhere. Does anyone know of any other all inclusives in the area that are good?

We're going to Royal Hideaway also...but it's pricier than ASP.
Honestly, my take is that the food will be good at ASP, not gourmet, but really who eats gourmet? We just saw a Howard Stern show segment taped from there and it looked beautiful, plus the lagoon (you know about the lagoon right?) was CRYSTAL clear...gorgeous!
Don't stress yourself out...Mexico is not known for its food (or water ) but it is romantic and you picked that place for a reason!
El Dorado Seaside Suits and El Dorado Royale are owned by the same people and are well known for their food. I work in the restaurant business, and I was very concerned with this. We ended up booking El Dorasdo Seaside Suites based on many reviews read online, 99% of which raved about the food.

We're in the same boat, but I found this website last night and if you click on Aventura Spa Palace and once you're in it, if you click on 'Photos' on the left hand side, there are like 22 pages of photos of it and it looks beautiful. We're seriously considering it.
I have been to a lot of all inclusive resorts and I have never had any problem with finding something to eat (and yes we have been to cancun palace and the food was fine)... some people you just cant satisfy and they will always find something wrong with the place...

FH and I are going to Secrets Capri Riviera for vacation in June. It is a ways away but we ae looking forward to it.

The food at Royal Hideaway is wonderful! There are 7 restaurants and they are all great! We gained so much weight b/c all we did was eat

a friend of mine stayed at Royal Hideaway and raved about it. DH and i just planned a trip to Secrets Excellence (Riviera Cancun) that im really excited about! (we couldnt afford Royal Hideaway .. seems amazing for a honeymoon)
