Mexican or Tapas Restaurant

So, I'm haing bachelorette party with my friends in the city on Friday.... I want to do a fun / not too expensive dinner & drinks and then out afterwards.... It's probably going to be about 8 people (all good friends). I want to start the night a mexican restaurant or tapas- fun nothing serious or themed.... Then depending where we are- going out to the bars afterwards. I have some ideas- but want to hear your suggestions!!

Thanks so much!!!!!

Fun! Stanton Social (american tapas) or El Faro or El Quijote are good ones. Have fun!

there is also Agozar on Bowery and Azafran on Warrent st... for Tapas. Agozar might be more fun. Son Cubano in the meatpacking is also good.

I second PIPA. It's amazing

BUT there is also a place called ALTA. You can order the entire menu for $350! It's awesome

Don't really know any places in the city...except Dos Caminos..which I love!

But, this reminded me of the fact that everytime I say 'a tapas Restaurant' my mom thinks I'm saying 'topless' and always says 'WHAT!!?? a TOPLESS RESTAURANT?? ARE YOU CRAZY!!??'
