Mexican Themed Wedding

Hey ladies, Any help with the following question would be wonderful!!

My friend is looking to have a Mexican themed wedding and she is not sure where to begin looking. Everything she find is outside of New York, acutally outside of the US. I don't think a catering hall would provide this so I dont know where to begin looking. Perhaps like a very nice Mexican restaurant with an outdoor, something with a mexican flair. I think you are going to find a space that is fairly empty and trasnform it into a Mexican/hacienda looking type place.

Just a suggestion.

Is she in NY?

There are very nice Mexican Restaurants in Manhattan, it all depends on whether her style (informal vs. formal) and what her guest number is.

Also there are many RH that will do whatever meny you choose.

thank you for your responses. Yes she is in New York, Queens actually but any part of NY would work for her as long as it had that Mexican feel to it. I like the idea of a hollow space also which is what I suggested but that may be A LOT of work but maybe is worth considering if we cant find anything else.

Thanks again. She is look ing for a place that will hold about 250 people. I looked at Viva Juan, they dont have a website but they did get good reviews. I think I will check it out myself one night for dinner and see what it looks like.
