Mexico

Has anyone ever gone to the Mayan Riveria? I'm going there this July and just wanted to know if anyone had any opinions.

Where in the Mayan Riviera are you going? I'm staying at the Royal Hideaway in Playacar next week...

I went to the Royal Hideaway for my hm! It was amazing! So incredible - we can't wait to go back! The area itself was okay, it was the resort that made our trip spectacular. We didn't have as much fun when we left and did excursions as we did when we stayed there.

We plan to stay at a resort but does anyone know anything to do outside of the resorts or places to go? Anyone know how long the flight is from NY to Mexico?

I did - went to Bahia Principe (the Akumal side). It was incredible! We had to change planes in Houston but I think the total flight time, without the layover, was about 4 1/2 hrs.

My FH and I stayed at th Spa palace which is on the mayan riveria and it was amazing. We took a boat ride over to Cozumel and spent the day walking around there. We went in December and the weather was amazing, 85 degrees everyday and no rain.
