anyone change their honeymoon bc of whats going on in mexico? I booked riveria maya for july and so many people are telling us we shouldnt go...Anyone in the same situation?

We haven't booked yet (waiting until after the wedding to do it) but we had our hearts set on the Excellence Playa Mujeres. Now I'm not sure. I keep hearing completely different sides of the story. A part of me just wants to listen to friends that say this has been going on a LONG time and just now the US is talking about it. Dunno what to do. But I've seen a bunch of other girls that have already booked down there say that they are not changing their plans. GL

I'm going to a destination in May in Cancun....I am a little nervous...but we're still going to go...FH says he keeps an eye on situation on news and says its fine

We wanted to goto mexico but the travel agent advised us against it and now we are going to hawaii

FH and I are booked for Excellence Playa Mujeres for our honeymoon. We are not sure what we're going to do, but since we got travel insurance, we figure we will wait and see how the situation is by July and if things are bad we'll rebook then. I hope we won't have to...I realllllly want to go!!!!

we are going to El Dorado Royale in Riviera Maya July 7th, we are still planning to go!

Also FH is going to Cabo with his guys June 4th for his bachelor party, they are still going.

We are going to EPM in October and have no intentions of changing plans.

A friend of mine just got back from Cancun, which is supposedly one of the places they are saying to stay out of right now, and she said it was totally fine and she never felt uncomfortable for a minute.

We're gonna be there too, we'll be coming home on June 7th
