Has anyone been to or going to Mexico for their hm? My fh and I were originally considering Tahiti and when we realized that was way above our budget we considered Antigua. But after looking into that we have realized that will be about 10k as well. The problem is I am a teacher and we are limited, so we chose December break so no matter where we go it is going to be a little pricier, oh well.. it is what it is. We went to a travel agent today to see what other options may be and she highly recommended Mexico. The two resorts are El Dorado Royale and the Royale Hideaway. Any opinions or experiences with these two places would be very helpful. At first I was very against Mexico, wanted something a little more exotic, but unfortunatly it comes down to $$

We're going to Mexico in April for a vacation. This resort is hightly recommended by my TA and a few girls on here click

we're doing both Mexica and Antigua....
Royal Hideaway in Mexico
and
Hermitage Bay in Antigua
they are both all inclusives and def cheaper than Tahiti.
you can also try Costa Rica and Belize, which are exotic but way cheaper.

Mexico will be awesome! FH and i looked into it and there are some amazing resorts!! We are doing brazil and it is costing us what we were quoted for Mexico and we figure since it is far it may be harder to get there in the future!

We are doing the El Dorado Royale. Check out tripadvisor.com. They were a lot of help when we were booking. We booked the Casita suites that have a shower with no celing and hot tubs with a view of the ocean.
