Please tell me has anyone heard MGM play. What do you think?
Does anyone currently have them booked for an upcoming wedding?
If you don't mind what is their cost range?
I really need a band that also performs in Italian.

P.S. Oasis, Mirage and Paris are already booked for my date.

HI I BOOKED THEM ON DEC 22, 2003 2 DAYS AFTER I GOT ENGAGED. THEY ONLY HAD 2 SATURDYS IN SEPT 2005. THEY R UNBELIEVABLE. MY BROTHER HAD THEM 4 YEARS AGO AND MY BESTFRIEND HAD THEM LAST YEAR. THE PRICE RANGE IS AROUND 7000.00. AT MY BROTHERS WEDDING AND BEST FRIENDS WEDDING I DONT THINK I EVER HAD SO MUCH FUN AND DANCED SOO MUCH B4. FM IF YOU NEED ANY OTHER INFO!!

I went to see them. They are good, but I thought too expensive. They gave me a quote of $7,800 for 8/27/05. They were good, but not that good!

Also, do they have any females or is it an all male band? If so, is that weird to have no females singing at a wedding?

Sorry, i'm responding late but, I picked 'Voices' because I think their Italian songs are great. There price was about $1000 less than MGM. MGM was good, but I didn't think worth all that money! Angelo Venuto is in the 'voices' band, and everyone goes crazy when they hear his 'sweet charoline' song. I think my guests will enjoy Voices better than mgm.

If you are looking for an Italian/American Band - I had the Strings (I thought they were Great!!). If you know the Caleps they are cousins of the Strings.
Our Italian/American band was Opera3000 and they were absoutely fantastic. Everyone was booked for our date so we went to NJ to hear this band. We booked them right on the spot. On the day of the wedding, they had everybody dancing!

A friend of mine had MGM at her wedding. They are good, but sound a bit pricey.
We booked Oasis. We have seen them in action at a wedding too. They, too, are an American/Italian band. We are paying $4,400 for a Friday in February. Normally, it's 1k more.
