Thanks! I'm so worried about makeup for the day of! Everyone else I've reached in the last 2 weeks is either booked or RIDICULOUSLY expensive.

And, just as a side note, when I saw your note I was like Mrs. Q who's that? LOL, ME!!!!!!

She was emailing me back but then I had to change my trial date and I haven't heard back from her. I also left a message and she didn't return my call.

I was thinking the same thing - she JUST had a baby when she did my trial in March 06... She is quite the mom!!!

She was great - loved the tiral, I booked her for day of - she arrived at 5:45 in the AM the morning of my wedding, plus did my stepdaughter's hair for reduced price because it was just putting it up.... I did have trouble getting in touch with her at times, but she was very reliable....

For those who went for a trial, how much did she charge you for the trial?

Is it 150 as the website says.

Trial for just makeup is $85, thats what I had done. I am only using her for makeup
If its both hair and makeup, i think its $150

Do you know if Mia is really booked for September 2007? I wonder if she works on Sundays.

Has any previous bride who booked her had problems for paying her at the end? Does she over charge for travel? And is she pretty good on making it on time?

I booked her I think in March for my October wedding last year. She is the most on time person I have ever met. She shadowed us for the entire day, and did touch ups on myself and the bp. She even fixed my hair in the confessional of the church. I had her in Southampton, and Westhampton Beach, and I dont think she even bothered to charge travel. At the end of the day, when I told her I didnt need her anymore, she told our best man how much was left, she was paid and that was it.

I have an appt to meet her next weekend.

She sounds great and very nice. Just want to know if anyone else had to go to a salon out in Bethpage called Margarite and company for their trials this year.

I just had a trial with her over the weekend- it was $85 for the trial and she said it would be $200 for day of make up on the bride.

She is really cool... I have total confindence in her for hair and make up.... I did my trial already and booked her on the spot.

I will be doing my hair trial in April.
