Miariah Carey 2nd hand Ring! w Q of The Day

I would not want ANYTHING to do with that ring.... that ring with its setting and stone was intended for another person, so even if he took the diamond out and reset it, i would still know that the diamond was not originally suppose to be mine!

This is just me though.....

I'd be insulted.
My exfiance gave his girlfriend my old engagment ring and i laughed about it for DAYS bc she was bragging about how special it was and how he had it designed and that it was one of a kind.
He did have it designed, but NOT FOR HER

So, knowing how I felt about her getting that ring, I'd never be able to accept a ring that was meant for an ex.

That guy was a real winner, let me tell ya. They have since broken up, and I heard through the grapevine that girl #3 now has the ring. But that might just be a rumor, I never ask about him, but people find the need to fill me in.

An engagement ring is significant and special. I would not marry someone that:
1. was not capable of grasping the above idea or
2. was too cheap or lazy to trade it in and buy me a new one.

Period.

Also, if my FH gave me an ex's ring I might have stabbed him. Lol. But seriously.

Honestly, I do not think I would care. I don't believe in diamonds carrying bad luck. the first relationship ended because the relationship had faults, not because of the ring So, I think I'd be fine with it -- especially if it looked like that!!!!
