Michaels: BRIDES Invititation Kits

If you have seen them, what do you think of them? The price is good, and they look cute...but not sure if they look cheap.

I actually bought these and they came out pretty good. I don't think they look cheap at all. The only problem is, the ones I bought don't come with envelopes. They don't really need them because they are pretty sturdy but I am mailing alot of mine out of state and I was nervous that they would be torn apart going through all of the postage machines. They suggest hand canceling them in the kit but they are dark brown so I figured any sort of labeling or stamp the post office used wouldn't be seen. So I just bought matching envelopes from online and it worked out fine. I only needed 50 invites which is another reason I decided to go with a DIY. I think if I had to do anymore I would have lost my patience. Hope this helps!!

I just mailed out about 110 of them yesterday! Yay! They came out GORGEOUS! Very classy, not cheap at all. You just need to be patient and skilled, as they do take some time!

I love mine! The font, the layout, the colors... I think they were beautiful especially knowing that most people will throw them away in a short time.

HTH

I'll post pics of mine in my album for you to see.

Thanks! One more thing my kit came with everything EXCEPT for Reception cards, which I did seperately. Although you could just put that information on the bottom. I sampled that and it did look nice., i just chose to get a similar card to be more formal. Also, I do recommend a hot glue gun too. I do not see how those little dots would have held this whole thing in place!

Re: Michaels: BRIDES Invititation Kits

I just put up a few pics in my album. My camera is not the best but hopefully you can get a better idea as to what they look like. These didn't come with a reception card either like the other bride said but I didn't need one because my cermony is at the reception hall. So I was just able to put 'Reception Immediately Following' on the bottom of the invite also. If you do decide to go with them and want to buy envelopes let me know and I will give you then name of the place I used. I got them online, they were very reasonable, I think they match perfectly and the came like 2 days after I ordered them.

Thanks for the info. I love them!!! I went to Michaels today and they were sold out
I have to wait until Thursday to see if they got any in. By the way, how many stamps did you need for the invite, I know it's a little on the heavy side.

I bought a kit from Michael's that I printed out. They do not look cheap at all. I just didnt want to spend hundreds of dollars on something that people are gonna throw away right away...so to me they are perfect and most importantly they carry the message.
