Michael's coupons - scrapping question

Michael's has 2 coupons in today's paper. 50% of one item Sun & Mon only, and 40% off one item Tues - Sun.

So... as a beginnning scrapper what should I buy?????

Is the Sizzix worth the money? What about the Zyron machine (and which one?) What else is worth using the coupons on?

Give me your suggestions please!

I LOVE my Xyron!! I do not think I can do without it! YEt, there are others out there that do not like it! I have 3 sizes of Xyron...

900 - Does a sheet up to 8.5' wide, also has refills for not only 'glue' but for lamination (on both sides) and a MAgnet on back side and lamination one front. That one I used when I made my friends STD magents for her!

500 (now the 510) - does a sheet up to 5 inches wide. The 500, the original one, onky had 2 refills (Premenant and Removable) the 510 has the laminating and magnets refills also.


150 - is used for little punches, punch art, small pictures. Its only about 2 inches wide but I find for my embellishments it works great!!

Xyron

the coupons wont work on the stuff that is 20-25% off in the scrapbooking section

I say get the sticker machine at 50 off!

I don't really see the need, at least for myself, for the Xyron...when does it really come in handy?

I don't use any stickers for my LOs, and I only have 1 newspaper clipping I want to laminate, so I bought the cheaper, paper laminate for that.

When else does the Xyron come in handy?

the Xyron is not for stickers....they call it the 'Sticker' machine because what ever you put through it....adhesive will be put on the other side.

I put through my pictures, cardstock, ticket stubs, card making stuff, whatever I need to glue down, I use this machine in place of glue sticks or my Zig stick or glue dots!

I make alot of punch art and I make the piece then put it all thorugh the xyron. It easyer to adhere when I ues the machine!!

MAybe I should have you gals over for a class on the Xyron....you will be amazed at what it does!!

there is no glue on the front of the photos!! It really is incredable machine!! when you put a piece of paper through it or a picture...it comes out with a piece of wax paper on the back and when you peel that off, the glue is on your item.

If once you put your picture on your page...if you see that there is some glue residual, I used a 'pick-up' eraser to get rid of whats left. The eraser is like $2 and you will only have to buy one...EVER!!!
