I remember someone on the boards saying they DIYd their invitations from Michael's. I'm seriously considering doing this. How did it go? Easy peasy or headache hell?

I will be doin mine tomorrow!!! I will def let you know. So far it looks relatively simple. They give the website, you punch in the sku on h back of box and then you can download the template for the response card and invite!!
I love my invite design!!

Re: Michael's DIY Invitations
I just started printed mine today. For me it wasnt a problem. It took me a few days to find a graphic i like. Also my biggest problem was the invite i bought was too small. I had a hard time fitting it right but finally got it. If you go for it and need help formatting im here to help!!!
ETA: i didnt use the website. I found it too restricting so i did it in word and formatted it myself.

Re: Michael's DIY Invitations
Mine were pretty easy after I got my printer to cooperate. Once I got one right I just printed all the rest so I wouldn't have an issue.
Otherwise pretty simple. Just follow their template it helps

Re: Michael's DIY Invitations
We got ours from a kit at Michale's and my friend designed them and we brought them to kinkos to print them. To finish them off I added a feather. The entire cost was like $218!!!!!!!!!! We have been getting nothing but compliments about them!!!!!!
I love the peacock graphic! That's a pocket fold kit from micheals?

Crashing
I bought a BRIDES DIY kit from Michaels. I thought they were super easy. They give you a website to go to, and you can use their templates and just plug in all your wording and wedding info. The construction was also very easy. I made about 120 of them. We got a lot of compliments on them!
Good luck!
