I know many of you are very crafty and are very familiar with both stores, and since I am not, I was wondering which store I should go to as far as getting the best price on ribbon and paper shred??
I am trying to assemble a laundry basket filled with household items (I will be presenting the household item poem) for my friend's shower and just needed these final few items to finish it.
By the way - anyone have pics of such a project? I would love to see some of your ideas.

I don't think there's TOO much of a difference between the two stores.
You might want to try papermart.com if you need a lot of something. They have the best prices I've seen.

AC Moore!!! I love that store and the prices are slightly less than Micheals, they also take Micheals coupons!!

A C Moore has a better selection ... if it were me I'd go there and Target.

Jo Ann Fabrics also has a lot of ribbon and/or trim. I have no idea what the paper stuff is that you're asking about though, but it's worth a shot. I got all my ribbon and trim from there.

I like AC Moore a little better but, there's not a huge difference. If you sign up online at their website, they will send you their weekly coupons.

If you can't find a specific item, they'll order it for u - and it comes in just few days.

I went to Michaels, Target and AC Moore and have concluded that for the items I was looking for Michaels had the better selection (prices were very similar between Michaels and AC Moore).
