I thought you had posted some time back about stockpiling diapers and wipes before Molly was born. I searched but can't seem to find the post.

I am starting to stock up when I get coupons/sales but so far I have only gotten 1 big case (184) of the Size 1/2 swaddlers and a 560 count case of wipes.

By my calculations that case of diapers should last about 2 wks I would like to have more in my arsenal.

I thought yours was a good guide...

8-10 diapers per day.

If you get the 15% off coupons from BRU buy the case of Swaddlers 1-2 also use a manufacture coupon at the same time. I would get another 2 cases of those. Whenever I am down to 1/2 a case I get another one. It helps to keep them in the house, especially in the beginning.

Wipes- I have used 2 cases so far and am working on my 3rd (I think). I LOVE the Costco wipes. You can try those too.

Oh, I also used 4 packages of Newborn swaddlers with the belly button cut-out. I recommend those too.

sorry to barge in - i am so freaking nosey.

i just wanted to add, I used newborn swaddlers up until about 2 weeks ago! as it turned out sophia was small, and i ended up needing far more of those than I thought

I think the 8-10 average is probably right on, though we average more like 10-12 (and in the beginning you'll mess up a bunch so you'll need a few more here and there!)

i too love costco wipes, but end up more often with pampers sensitive touch since i can get them at bru on my many million trips there. right now i am using some pamper wipe with aloe that my husband got by accident. a CASE of.... The baby doesn't seem to mind them though!

Thanks guys!

Jenny.. barge in anytime!

I got the first batch at BJ's and used their coupon, so it was about $26.00 but they will not honor BRU cupons or specials only manufacturer coupons (which even though I am signed up at pampers, only get Huggies) so I think if I play the sale-coupon game BRU might actually be cheaper!

Everyone raves over costco wipes, I will def give BJ's wipes a try, maybe they are comparable.

I panicked when I couldn't find the cord cut out diapers at BJ's but then I realized they probably wouldn't sell them in large cases since you only need them for a short time. sure enough I found them in Walmart.

Sorry to jump in but...

Toys R Us is currently running a in-store coupon sale and their brand (same as BRU) is 16.99 for a case of 168 size 1 and size 2.

Also if you have a big baby those size 1 & 2's won't fit as long I loved the swaddlers but Damien is in a size 3.
