I think it said permanently closed for retail business - i dont think it was referring to the weddings that they do.

The one in Huntington? They just sent me an email over the weekend asking me to call them on Monday to make an appointment to visit with them...

I thought that they are closed on Mondays. I VERY recently communicated with the owner, so I doubt that they are out of business...

I rang the bell...no answer. Can you guys tell me what phone numbers you have for them, they did tell me to go across the street from the Harbor Club (where we are getting married) I did also ring the bell...no answer...there were flowers inside, it was so weird and I was so upset. We drove a long way to get there

Don't get too nervous. Keep trying...they do a good business according to this board...doubt they would go out of business so quickly!

I hope you guys are right...I have a sick pit in my stomach...our wedding's already on September 11th and when they weren't there we went across the street to take a walk behind the Harbor Club (our reception site) and I swear to God a black cat was just sitting there on the gazebo...I nearly died, not to mention all the rumors about the harbor club already, I'm so nervous I can't even tell you. Thank God my fiance is so great.

I went to see John on Saturday for my sample. He told me that yes they are closing down the retail business and are now strictly doing weddings.
Maybe that is what they are referring to.

I just called an got an answering machine (not surprised, at this hour).

They did not mention anything about closing down, just that they are not available to take my call and to leave my name, number and date of wedding.

I'm not worried; I don't think they'd do that to us!

I AM SO RELIEVED. JOHN WAS NICE ENOUGH TO FM ME AND SAID THERE MUST HAVE BEEN A MISTAKE WITH THE DAY/TIME. THEY ARE STILL OPEN, FOR WEDDINGS AND ONLY CLOSED THE RETAIL PART OF THE BUSINESS..I AM SO RELIEVED! I COULDN'T WAIT TO SEE THEIR WORK
