Michelle31 - Question on your hotel post
I`m having my reception in Setauket, and I`m thinking about blocking off a certain about of rooms at the Wind Watch in Hauppauge. Did you have to put down a deposit for this? If so, do you mind telling me how much it was? My wedding isn`t until next Fall, but I want to reserve some rooms in case some guests want to stay out there. Thanks!

Terri- Here is the info
When you request a room block you give a credit card, ,but it is not charged. It just holds the reservation. The rooms are $139/per night. We had to guarentee 10 rooms, which is not a problem for us. The staff at the hotel is excellent and explains every detail to you when you call. Also, the bride and groom are upgrade to a large room for free. The coordinator told me not to spend the extra on a bridal suite. She said to save the money for the honeymoon hotels. And she is right. By the time we get to the hotel it will be after midnight.Welcome New Vendors
