I did it once-- I thought that my face looked a little 'brighter'.. I decided to just stick with my regular facials.

What are you trying to remove? I had acne scars and did a revitilize peel, actually several of them w/ Vilot @ LI Plastic Surgery in Garden City, she is awesome and also did a Microdermabrasion on me last time, it was Ok but the revitilize peel is 100% better, Downside revitilize is a Chemical peel and will turn you face red and make it peel for a few days after. I thought it was totally worth it and it prevents breakouts because it cleans your pores out. They are very addictive they ake you look younger and remove wrinkles as well. Beth

It's an expensive process, and you would need to make several treatments to really see a difference (usually 6 treatments).
I would also suggest doing in way in advance of your wedding, just in case of any reaction, but I would speak to your esthetician about the timing.
I haven't consulted with them yet, but they have a special program for brides-to-be!!!

That is my old dermatologist! He was featured as one of new york's best doctors in last years new york magazine. They are good to go for treatments. I might try them again.
