I will have an outdoor garden ceremony, just wondering do I need a microphone for the ceremony

Not sure but if it is outdoors at your hall they can probably tell you how they usually handle it and if it is recommended or not.

I asked my Rev and she stated that a MIC should be used during the ceremony. As things will be said..e.g. vows, poems...but yeah, ask your RH to double chk...

My DJ provided the mic for our ceremony. I did pay for ceremony music, but there was no additional charge for use of the mic.

Our officiant held a mic during our outside ceremony, not sure if he brought it himself or if it was provided by the DJ. Our videographer also mic'ed DH for the ceremony, which I didn't know until I walked down and saw it on him.
I stood there thinking, 'that's so cool, how come I didn't get a mic'??
