Microsoft format/template for reply cards

I'd like to do our reply cards the small A1 or 4 bar size. It is 3-1/2' x 4-7/8'. I am not the best with Microsoft. Did anyone make their own or can you help me format the page? I'm thinking I can get four to a page.

Thanks!!!

Re: Microsoft format/template for reply cards

If you are using Microsoft word:

go to Tools/Letters and Mailings/envelopes and Labels

click on the tab for labels

In the lower right hand corner is a box, at the top it says' 'labels' double click in the middle of that box. There you will find a list of standard sizes for various types of printing:name badges, labels, post cards, etc.

I looked through mind and they do not have the exact measurements you need.

I would go to 3259: notecard and then click on 'details' at the lower left. Adjust the label height and width to your specifications. Which would be 3.5 x 4.875. You must also change the vertical and horizontal pitch to the same specs. Then set the paper size at letter landscape. Name your new custom card on the space provided. You will fit 4 to a page. Click OK then click OK again and then NEW DOCUMENT. Your template will open up in a new page. and your template is saved as what ever you called it under Tools/Letters and Mailings/envelopes and Labels.

hope that makes sense.

let me know if you get stuck.
