Midtown ladies - any good shoe stores?

Midtown ladies - any good shoe stores?

Hi -

I'm looking to kill some time and look for wedding shoes. Any suggestions? I'm by Grand Central so I can pretty much go anywhere.
I'll post on BHB too, but I feel more newlyweds read this board and maybe can help.

Thanks,
Donna

Thanks Misty. I'm planning on heading there on a day when I can manage a 'longer' lunch hour

Edited because I just realized you said wedding shoes not regular shoes! Sorry. I think Nine West is making them now (on Lexington & 45th I think). Maybe also try Macy's? Also, there's a Kenneth Cole on 42nd and Madison I think.

Sorry I just excited for Saks, they have the best wedding shoes. LOL.

The Kenneth Cole store on 5th and 50th may have some stuff also....

I'm on Park and 40th, so I can pretty much travel anywhere, but if it's a little far from me I have to save it for a day when the boss is out of town.

why don't you walk up madison? there's tons of places.. how much are you looking to spend?

I've been going to this one place on Lex and 50th.. I bought 3 pairs from them last week..

Misty - Am I going to break the bank with the shoes in Saks? I really don't have a budget in mind.... so I guess it can't hurt

Well, yes but they are wedding shoes who cares? LOL.

They carry Vera Wang wedding shoes, Stuart Weitzman...etc. Some really pretty stuff.

Stuart Weitzman has a store on Madison and 57th. Also on the upper east side there are a few shoe stores like Diane B and the Shoe Box.

I got mine at Stuart Wietman, and they were beautiful AND so comfortable!! I honestly did not have one problem with them at all!! It's worth a visit to their store.

They definitely do, I was in there recently, but the selection is very limited. Oh, it's a little lower than that, like 5th and 48th.
