What are inside envelopes? We got the proof yesterday and it only had the return envelope, so not sure what people are talking about when they refer to inside envelopes?

A waste of paper IMO!
They are actually supposed to clarify exactly who is invited.
Like the outer envelope would be addressed to The Sullivan Family while the inside is addressed to Tom, Terri, Kelly, & Michael. At least, that's my understanding of it.

Re: Might be a stupid question
it's not really useful. they used to be important when the post office would ruin letters and whatnot (they'd come with scuff marks on the envelopes and whatnot) ... the inner envelopes were the 'real' invitation ones (the nicer ones) and the outer envelopes were not as nice.
these days, they're a complete waste of paper and money.

same here but mine is a pearl not a rhinestone. it's a waste of $ and it makes the env heavier which means more po$tage

Yes that is how I have seen it but, common the extra envelope weighs everything down LOL

Re: Might be a stupid question
Well I am getting them but bc I don't have pocketfolds. This way the guests can toss out the outter envelope which get's torn open. Then they have the inner which is not sealed to keep the invite and all info cards in.
If I was getting pocketfolds I would have not gotten the inner envelopes
