Might be a stupid question but If you/fh wear glasses...

Are you guys wearing them on the wedding day? FH wears glasses and we are both torn on this..If he wears contacts he wont look like he normally does so it might be weird.. But at the same time when he takes pictures a lot of times he gets glare on his glasses! I am sure that wont be a problem for the professional photographer but it might cause issues with people taking digital camera pics. What are you all doing?? Thanks!

i always wear contacts, so that wont change on the wedding day...idk about FH though, he wants to get contacts but im so used to seeing him with his glasses that it might be weird!

and i dont think you have to worry about the glare, pro photogs can eliminate that!

Fh always wears glasses. He will wear them at the wedding.

I just started wearing glasses and I think I can see fine without them so I wont be wearing glasses. FH always wears his so he will.

I think he should wear them if he isnt used to contacts perhaps he will be itchy or uncomfortable the whole day

I wear contacts most of the time so I will wear them on my wedding day. Fh on the other hand always wears glasses. He will wear them on the wedding day...we never have a problem with glare in photos-Maybe this is b/c of the antiglare coating on his lenses??

I wear glasses; FH doesn't. I haven't worn my contacts in awhile, but I am going to have my eyes checked and all way before the wedding and get new ones.

I really don't want my pics with me and my glasses..l.ol.

I did that for my brothers wedding and I felt better.

FH and I both wear contacts normally. BUT since I have been so prone to eye issues as of late, I'm absolutely petrified I'm going to have pink eye or conjunctivitis or something else disgusting and weird and my own fault the day of the wedding. If that's the case, I WILL NOT wear my glasses...I will walk around blind. I'm that vain.

FH on the other hand, god forbid anything should happen to his eyes or his contacts, he's screwed. He only has like a 10-15 year old pair of glasses, not even correct prescription, that are HUGE, totally 90's. I've been badgering him to get a new pair for years now, and he won't. I want him to have them to alternate with his contacts because he wears his contacts probably 20 hors of the day and its not good for you. I'm really funny with eyes, and I just have a bad feeling that somehow one of us is going to have a problem day of.

FH never wears his glasses at formal things even though he cant see for sh*t. hahaha

I would like him to be able to see me and not be squinting in pictures of him watching me come down the gigantic olph aisle.

Before FH got the LASIK surgery we used to debate this. He wanted to wear contacts, but I wanted him to stick with his glasses since that's what I'm used to seeing him with. Now I lose that argument since he doesn't need anything anymore

Whenever I get married, I will have my glasses on. They are part of who I am and if I saw a picture of myself without them, I probably wouldnt recognize me, and that's the exact opposite of what you want from your wedding photos.

I will probably take off my glasses for pictures/ceremony and put them on for the reception. My eyes dry out like THAT whenever I wear contacts. I haven't worn contacts since September 2007 as a result. My mom is pushing me to wear contacts all day. . .but I want to be comfortable, especially when it comes to my eyes.

This terrifies me... I wear glasses when i drive and when i need to see far away.
I have never tried contacts... I think i will. Because I want to see the FH's face when I'm walking down the isle

I wear glasses all the time - tried getting contacts but Dr. says I can't have them cause of my astigmatism (with no nearsightedness or farsightnedness, JUST astigmatism) SOOOO... I think I am going to take them off for the beginning of the day - the ceremony, the formal pictures, etc. I will probably put them on at some point during CH our reception. Oh well! FH wears glasses too but doesn't need them as I do.

my DH wore his glasses the day of our wedding and there was no problem with photos (pro and non pro)! there are some pics in my review if you want to take a look! HTH!

You know I have been thinking about this a lot because I wear mine all the time because I am very near sited. I absolutely don't want to wear them to my wedding day, but without them I won't be able to see my guests across the room. I have been debating getting contacts. But last time I tried it was a disaster. Not sure what my plan is. Its been bothering me.
