Might be a TMI post
I have a week and 4 days till my wedding and I think I'm going to have my period for it! I'm stressing out about it. I didn't do the skipping of my last BC pills because I should have had it 4 days ago so I thought it would be over by the wedding. I'm now late and worried it's going to wait to show up for the big day. No, there's no chance I'm pregnant, this just happens sometimes. How bad do you think it'll be to have it the day of? Think I'm panicking over something that isn't that big of a deal? Also I heard that if I just get my next month and start them right away I might not even get it, (even though I'm on day 4 of the placebo pills) has anyone had luck with this?

I think you can take it early and it will throw you off. Check with your OBGYN.

You are stressing right now so if is going to be off. I am sure it will come and go before YOUR big day.

This. Just try to relax (I know, what's that word?!). Even if you do have your period for your wedding day, it won't be the worst thing. Yeah, you won't get it on that night, but you'll be too tired anyway! The only annoying thing may be the bathroom situation with your big poofy dress lol. Just load up on Midol that morning and you'll be fine.

If I were you, I would just start taking your pills again now and skip your period. There is nothing wrong with taking the pills straight through and skipping it- that way you won't have it for your wedding and you can get it next month. ;D

I've skipped before for a vacation I just took the pills straight thru. When ur period does come tho it's def a litl worse than normal but it was worth not having it on our trip

I agree with these ladies! I would check with your doctor, but i've definitely started my next pack right away times when I had a vacation and didn't want to get my period and I was fine. No period. For me I didn't get it heavier the next time but everyone might be different

Def check with your dr if you can start next month's pack even though you took some of those months placebos. I would want to do.that to if I.were you. Hopefully it will come in the next day or 2 so u don't have to worry. But u are probably late bc you r stressing. As much as I hate when people tell me this...you have to try not to stress, stay calm. And then it will come.

Def check with your dr. but just remember any stress can alter your cycle. Speak with your GYN and ask him what are your options. I know it's easier said than done but just try to take it easy and relax. Just make an appt with your dr sooner rather than later.

I've started the next pack and skipped so that I wouldn't have it for events or a vacation like the other girls said and it was fine. But you aren't crazy we booked our date somewhat based on this even though it was a year and a half away and every month I check my calendar to make sure I'm on track to not have it for the wedding.

Re: Might be a TMI post
I know it sucks in theory, but I don't think it'll be the worst to have it the day of, if you get cramps just make sure you make the best of it! Panicking/stress could be why it's late to begin with so I wouldn't make yourself nuts. If you're late at this point I think starting a new pack you may still get it... from my experience you're supposed to start the new pack right away and not take any placebos so that may not work. I personally would rather have it and know than play a guessing game and keep worrying. Also, I tried to skip mine on vacation and because I don't usually do that my body got funky and I ended up having it come and go for almost two weeks! Not worth the chance in my opinion lol good luck!

That's what I heard from a lot of internet sites and I've never skipped it before. Guess we'll just wait and see.
Thanks ladies

I feel you're pain girly! Even since I hit the 6mon. mark my cycle has been poppin up whenever it wants last month it didn't arrive until 39 days later. I track it on PLite app on my iphone but this wedding stuff has really took a toll on my cycle.
