Might be changing wedding plans

I haven't been on in a bit. Been EXTREMELY busy with work.

Anyway... Wanted to throw this out there.

FH and I are considering changing the entire plan. We were making the appt. to book the Riviera for 2011 when we starting thinking about maybe doing a destination wedding and then just throwing a 'Party' when we get back. It's so hard bc I really love the Riviera and was so excited about all the plans I was making and then we let our minds wander and now we have this new idea. Now I'm really confused! I know a lot of people do destinations, but nobody I know has done one so I don't even know where to start with the research on this.

Opinions? Thoughts? HELP?

i think you should contact a travel agent... they can set it up for everyone plus they know a lot of great places for all budgets...

my BFF had hers in Bermuda at 9 beaches - it was nice but its not 5 star or anything and my bro and his gf are going to do it in the DR - they are using our travel agent..

Sorry, I wouldn't know where to begin with a destination wedding either, so I can't offer you much advice, but that sounds really great!! Where are you thinking of getting married if you do the destination wedding?

My co-worker was in a destination wedding at Turks and Cacos (??) she said it was great the TA and the hotel helped plan everything then the bride and groom stayed on for their honeymoon

its like LIW weddings but for Destinations

that site was crack for me when we considered destination but since our dear love ones are tight with cash and asking them to pay $1000 right now is a little crazy -- we opted out ...

this is one of the many things you have to consider... if you dont care, HELLO DESTINATION WEDDING ! and if you are a control freak , destination is not a great choice but everything is done via email - unless you plan on paying a visit
