might change my date

ive been putting serious thought into changing my date to the next day 2-24-08 because sundays are soooo much cheaper..i thin kit might be presidents day too..not sure..but what do you guys think

I'm doing a Sunday night wedding. I was unsure of this but in the end I'm sure it will be great anyway. People will come to celebrate with you no matter what!

We save about 20pp this way and our minimum is lower which saves a lot that way.

I think thats fine. My friend is having a Sunday night wedding. It is a lot cheaper.

we're having a sunDAY wedding, at first I wasn't too thrilled about it. I was thinking of having a sunday night but I thought this might be better for the OOT'ers. Meanwhile, everyone I spoke to said they plan on taking off monday anyway but I'm not going to change it to a night wedding now. We do plan on having an after party at the hotel though!

I actually just called my RH to change my date too...to a friday night wedding...but she said the friday night (the night before) is on hold...so I might have to change it to the next weekend...:(. It ***** because I just got an engagement gift (champagne glasses from Tiffany's) with our date monogramed on it....it *****!! But, it will save us some money. So...we will see...but go for it!!

hey whatever saves money is always great. we wanted a saturday evening wedding but we settled for sat. afternoon cause it was cheaper we saved about 2-3,00 dollars off our package. so do what suits you financially

A lot of people are having their wedding on a Sunday night. It is a lot cheaper, so I say go for it

to be honest, I think Im looking at my wedding from a guests point of view, sat night, have the ceremony there..because Im thinking of everything I enjoy about being a guest. and its becoming a fault of mine!

It's YOUR wedding! You will remember it for the rest of your life. So if you dont mind changing it to a Sunday, go for it. Especially if the next day is President's day. We have off (teachers) the 3rd week in Feb for that! Its great!

Another option, that I considered, is Saturday during the day, my friend did that and then they had an after party back at the house and it was AWESOME! just an entire day of fun! Im not sure but I think Sat day and Sunday night prices are comparative.

Either way, its up to you! Its your day , follow what feels rignt!

I was originally thinking of doing a Sunday or Fri wedding then when I found our place, and the prices were the same all year round no matter what I kept it Sat.

It's all on what you want.

Go for it if you want to save money. Everyone will still come celebrate!!! If not, we'll go kick their butts!!!

Hey, if you didnt order any favors or anything that are personalized..then go for it. Sunday weddings are waaaay cheaper
