Might have a big problem w/ hotel...
So, we have our rooms blocked at the Holiday Inn in Carle Place. When I called a few months ago, I was told that they offer a 'day rate' of $75, so that is where me and my girls have planned to get ready and have the limos pick us up.
I just called them now to actually book these day rooms and I learned that they don't reserve them! It's a 'walk-in' thing and if they have rooms clean and available, they will rent them out - if not, oh well!
Um, yeah this presents a BIG problem! I explained my situation to the girl and all she can tell me to do is to rent 2 rooms for the night before and use those to get ready in. The best they could do is rent them to me at the blocked rooms rate of $155/night - that means I'd be spending over $300 as opposed to $150!
I emailed the 2 ladies who did the block with me and I am PRAYING they can do something for me.
