We invited 240 people, so far 111 are coming. Our response date is in 2 days, May 10th and we are still waiting for 35 RSVP's (70 people). I hope we meet our minimum. I didn't think 240 people would say yes, but I didnt think there would be so many no's either. I guess it is just a busy time of year for people. Plus I invited alot of OOT guests when I knew most would not be able to make the trip.

A lot of people said No to us that I thought for sure would be coming. I understand how you feel. I hope we make our minimum too.

If you don't, then try to get some 'freebies' from your hall to make up for it!

What is your minimum? Id call and talk to your hall and see what that means. Some places will still make you pay but then throw in 'freebies' Some might then allow you to include the children etc.. Call them and find out. BTW, I think a lot of us got our RSVPs like a day after they were due. A lot of people wait until the last minute and I even made a few phone calls.
