Hi ladies. I wanted to let everyone know that I went to the Mikasa Warehouse Store in Secaucus, New Jersey this past weekend and bought all of my favors. They are having a 75% sale off of store items only until May 12th. I heard that they only have this sale every few years. They had so many nice things.I wound up buying a few extra gifts for myself :) Go to mikasa.com for directions to that store in New Jersey. Hope this helps.
I also bought my favors there last year! They have that sale twice a year (around this time of the year and again in Nov/Dec) and I ALWAYS go there to shop! I recommend it to anybody who needs favors because you can't beat the price!!! I'm like a junkie in that store!!! What did you end up getting?
I had no idea that they had this sale twice a year. I am going to make sure I go back. I was like a little kid in a toy store lol. I wound up getting really pretty picture frames as favors.
Oh goody they have it twice a yr! My wedding isn't till March 2004 so I can wait till next yr.
cw0904 -- Since your wedding is in March, go to the sale that they have around the holidays -- it usually starts around Thanksgiving and goes for 3 weeks into December. Check out their website www.mikasa.com for when it will be (or call them around November). It really is worth checking out because the prices are so great and they have such a huge selection. I ended up getting a vase and I saw it in some favor shops for 3x the price I paid ($5.99). And you can have fun with your bridal party wrapping them (although my MIL wanted to do them all by herself)!!!!
Deanna -- Nice choice! And they had some really nice frames there! I'm telling you, I'm ADDICTED to this store!!!! I used to hit up this sale WAY BEFORE I even met my husband and I always knew I would go there to get my favors!! I do a lot of Christmas shopping in there and I get a lecture before I go in that I'm not allowed to buy anything for myself! Which you know I don't listen to!!! :)
