MIL changes her mind...Hallelujia!
OK, so when we first got engaged, our Mom's fought over which church/religion we would be married in, people to invite...blah blah!
I said all along I would be fine with a few people on a beach with just family and close friends. That was never a consideration since his mother wanted to invite every latino on Long Island!!
Anyways...she called last night and talked with a friend who's getting married in 3 months. She said oh my god, it's $120 a person. I said yeah Carmen....that's the reality of it! I said my parents are only giving us XX and that's all we have (she's only paying for honey moon, my rents agreed to foot everything else).
So, we got to talking about how much $$ people would give us or to use it for a house and she totally agreed with the 20 people to Sandals for $6,000! Woo hoo!!!
Which leads me to.... has anyone researched, heard feedback from, or done the Sandals wedding?? Thanks for the advice!
