MIL Dress

My mother in law bought her dress before my mom did. Now my mom is acting like a 5 year old saying ' I thought I was supposed to buy the dress first!'

That's funny. That's why I took both of them at the same time. Avoid problems that way.

Traditionally, yes, the MOB is supposed to pick her dress first. My mother knew she was going to take a long time, so she didn't care if my FMIL found her dress first or not.

huh, i didn't know that. i went with my fmil before i went with my own mom...good thing neither one found a dress they like

Honestly...I would be soooo happy if my MIL got her dress before my mom. I know my mom is on top of things as far as the wedding, but my FMIL....well....she still hasn't even gone to look at dresses, let alone purchase one. The worst part is that my mom ordered hers in August 05, and it still hasn't come in. What does that say about my FMIL's dress?? We don't have another 6 months!!!

I made my mom go before Christmas to avoid her throwing a tantrum She got a dress on the first time out, so I'm happy. But my FMIL is challenged in the dress department, and insists on putting it off. I gave her 'off' for December and January.. now it's time to get her arse in gear and start looking, cause I know she's going to take a long time

MY MIL has been looking for a while now and has found a dress already. My mom hasn't even started to look. My mom always waits till the last minute.
