mil gave me her mink coat because she lives in florida

what would you do? i dont think im the fur wearing type but i dont want to hurt her feelings.

Donate it? Sorry but I cannot have a dead animal on my back... Would she know if you never wear it?

i dont think she would know she doesnt come here all that often in the winter...

I would keep it just incase...
If you don't want to wear it for personal reasons or you're just not a 'fur' person...store it away somewhere...

I just think about the possibility that one day she will be visiting and ask to see you wear it or wear it herself and then what would you say.....'I donated it'????

I have a fur that was my Grandmothers who passed away years ago...and while I may never buy a fur myself, I am certainly not going to part with this one...to me, it has sentimental value.

i am not a fur wearer, but a couple of years ago, i was given two fur collared coats that are like 50 years old and are beautiful. and i wear them b/c they were made when there wasn't a consciousness like there is today and i would rather wear them than throw them out, you know. i understand how you would not want a fur, but i would still keep it. donating it to a homeless shelter is a great idea but if you do not want to offend her, then store it. storing it in a facility can be expensive, but it does keep it safe.
