We were told we would be getting $2000 dollars for the wedding to help with costs. My parents shell out 5k for each of their kids and I have proof of that becuase I've used most of it. We counted that 2k into our budget because we were told we were going to receive it. Do you think that we have received it yet? No! The soon-2-b inlaws have paid $215 for flowers, thats it!

that stinks...but they still have some time to come up with it. if it makes you feel any better---no one helped or offered--oh wait..my sister (MOH) paid for my DJ as our gift.

No-I am NOT asking. It just ***** that we had planned on it...because they told us that was our gift. Now..what the hel? We don't get a gift? I don't know. I guess the FH plans on talking with them. We really need that extra money to finsih things up. And, we just bought our house and have no extra money.
