i don't wear nursing bras - just regular ones, but i have a ton of underwire i have stayed away from. the lc at the hospital had said not to wear them.
do any of you wear the underwire?

i have little boobies. they never grew.
I am able to use just regular bras and I just whip em out - but I have tons of underwire that I havent' been using because they told me it could cause clogged ducts or something.

I think that they recommend that you stay away from underwire atleast until after your milk comes in and your milk flow is regulated. I know plenty of people that wear underwire, especially after the initial pain of the milk coming in goes away.

I wore nursing bras but I think they had underwire. I am not sure I can survive without it.

I had to give up underwire in the last few weeks of my pregnancy & havent gone back. I hate to say it, since I'm a sagging mess, but I may not ever go back!
I deserve it, after so many years of wearing an underwire, I'm ready to burn it!!!

I have a nursing bra with underwire in it... but don't wear it any more since it's uncomfortable...
Speaking of bras... does anyone else where one like 24/7? I absolutely hate bras and now I wear one all the time. I'm hoping this will end soon... but it doesn't appear to be so...

I got a great nursing bra on ebay (NEW) for $9.99. I have 2 from motherhood that are okay, not great. I also wore sports bra for a while and they were comfty.

mygirls needed the support of the nursing bra even when I was sleeping. while I nursed I did not wear underwire. Im still pretty big in the chest- 6 months after stopping BFing...and I HATE underwire.. I dont wear them
You can find good support nursing bras at the leggs/hanes outlet in the source mall
