Re: Miller Place

Miller Place is near Sound Beach, Mount Sinai, It is north east of Port Jefferson Station it is about 15 min from 25A. I live in Manorville and it is faster to get to Manorville than it is to Miller Place from Woodbury
(by Fox Hollow) to Manorville with no Traffic it is about an hour and it is about and 1hr 15min to Miller Place because it is so far north.

Miller Place is North Shore, right?

Yes...take the LIE to 63 and go north all the way to the end... that's Mt Sinai/Miller Place. maybe 10-15 minutes from the LIE.. depends on how fast the driver is!!!

We're about 5 minutes east of Port Jefferson on the north shore. Exit 63 off the LIE. I grew up there, FM me if you have any questions.

Going from WP... it will take you a good hour to get to Miller Place.

Its taking us about 35-45 minutes to get to Farmingville where we are currently looking for houses... and you have to pass Farmingville and go further north to get to Miller Place.

I grew up in Miller Place and it is a great town. The only problem is that it is really far north as everyone else has said. You are forced to either take the back roads or get stuck on 347 which is a nightmare during rush hour. It is I think a 25-30 minute ride to get to the LIE which brings you to exit 63.

I was even considering moving there, but the commute is just too much.
