MILLER PLACE INN brides....

Hi Stacey,

I'm getting married at the Miller Place Inn on April 29, 2001! I'm really excited and it was 'the place' for me! Nine times out of ten when I tell someone that my reception will be held at MPI, they respond with 'Oh I've been there and it's such a nice place ... great food too!'

Aside from a few wedding nightmares, everything is coming along nicely! How are you doing?

WOW! You have so much done! You are in great shape! I still have to find a florist but that's only because just last week I finally picked out the girls dresses ...they are aubergine (a fancy name for purple!). I'm working with Buddy and next month we will start working on my menu and my cake and I'm really looking forward to that...I have so many cake ideas! As soon as I start planning my menu, I'll let you know all the details. So what are your details?

PS..Mind if I ask which florist you are using?

It sounds beautiful ... and I'll be doing the same thing! When I went to MPI for my food tasting, Buddy took me into the main room where a wedding was to be held that afternoon and the couple had chosen ivory for their table setting and it was gorgeous...so I decided right then and there that I would do the same thing for my wedding. It was simple yet elegant, exactly why I chose MPI in the first place.

I must say I am very impressed with the fact that you know exactly what flowers you are using and how you want them. I'm clueless!

I just went to a wedding at the Miller Place Inn on Saturday, and it was great. The place was really pretty, and the food was fabulous. The only bad comment I have to say was that the bathrooms were not that clean. But the service and the food made up for that. Have fun ladies

I used them on 12/2/00 and they were great! Reasonably priced and a wide variety!

Thanks Kristin! It always helps to hear great feedback from someone who actually attended a wedding or had a wedding there! However, I am a little concerned about Diane's post regarding the bathrooms being dirty ... did you find that to be the case at your wedding or did you not even notice?

I'm not worried about anything else when it comes to the MPI ... should I not be concerned at all?
There is a little rectangular book you can find at B&N and probably other book stores that list many shops and prices. It is white and is called something involving weddings and New York.

There are a lot of different opinions on tattoos but if you don't mind it showing then don't worry about what people think.
