a friend of mine just went to a wedding at the Milleridge and said everything was beautiful and the food was amazing as was the service- the only complaint they had was the cake was dry- i have heard this before- has anyone asked the BM about this- will they give a credit towards something else if we decide to get our own cake

Oh great!!
I think tourist said either her cake was dry or someone else's cake there was dry. To be honest, it's the least of my concerns, hopefully people will be dancing and drinking too much to even try the cake. But if you are concerned, raise the question. Maybe they'll let you choose 2 desserts and then you can get your cake elsewhere.

You do know what kind of filling was in the cake? I was thinking of having connoli filing. I would hope that's not dry.

I think it's the cake itself that people say is a little dry, not the fillings. Maybe it was Annette that said hers was dry? Either tourist or Annette - check with both of them, see what they say.
