Re: Milleridge Brides-Cake Question

Good question! I was wondering about the options the Milleridge gives since the cake is included.

Re: Milleridge Brides-Cake Question

Hi ladies!

It's funny that this topic should come-up. Yesterday I asked Richsbride about this very thing. (Look at the 'Attn: Richsbride' post.) Richsbride turns out to also be a Milleridge bride and she has the cake that she has selected (except in a different shape) posted on her page on the knot. Her link is on her profile. She would probably be a good resource to direct this question, as she has already met with the Milleridge bakery. Hope this is helpful.

Re: Milleridge Brides-Cake Question

Hey Cottage Brides(&grooms)!
The Cottage & the bakery both have photo albums with pics of cakes that are included. Some of the were pretty, some looked a little 'outdated' to me, I decided to bring them several pics of cakes I found on the web & ask what they could do. I'm paying $125 extra for a square cake with 4 tiers(instead of 3)& sugared fruits on top. They seemed to be willing to do anything(if I was willing to pay)
They also recommend using fresh flowers on their cakes. I hope I answered your question!

Re: Milleridge Brides-Cake Question

They did my cake for my wedding at GW Manor in June. They showed me some beautiful cakes and one was similiar to a Sylvia Weinstock that I wanted and they did exactly as I asked. People are still commenting how beautiful it was(and tasted).Good luck to you.

Re: Milleridge Brides-Cake Question

They will also do different cakes without charging-- we stuck with the 3 tier but had them change the proportions of it(there outdated pictures have some lopsided cakes in them) so def bring pics of cakes you like and they will match what you are looking for
Good luck
Laura
