as we all know i have posted over and over debating on halls. for some reason there is something about the milleridge that still really makes me wants to use them as my hall. i would hafta have the carriage room b/c there is no way im having over 100 pple. i love the country feel, the price, the wood floors, the packages..but my main concern was having the CH, ceremony and reception in one room. i can deal with the ceremony, then going out for ch, then back in for reception but is it too tedious? has any1 done this?? how is there ceremony for the carriage house. please respond i feel like i need mental help over this lol :)

If it rains we'll be doing the shuffle too from the Reception room for our ceremony to the CH room & back to the reception room for the reception. I've heard this works better than it sounds from friends but I've never seen it done.

When I visited Milleridge the told me that your guest just ease from one area to the next & there are screens which prevent them from seeing any of the set up or break down.
That's sort of what Fox Hollow said too.

i went to a wedding (w/ceremony) at the CH, it was wonderful! the ceremony was outdoors, but they have a big tent so as long as it is not a monsoon, it will be okay. we also had cocktails outside, and went in for the reception.

Did you ask them all these questions. the Banquet managers are very helpful. You could call & express your concerns. I saw pictures with the ceremony outside , so I'm not sure if its nice out do they still do the ceremony inside and if they do it outsdie how they switchover to the coctail hour. its all right there, so going outside & comingback isn't a big deal, its like moving around in differnt rooms in a bigger facility.
I'm getting married in a church, so I didn't ask about these things.

How did they switch from ceremony to Coctails under the tent? Is there down time while they set up?

we sort of wandered in and out of the carriage house during the cocktail hour...i don't remember the specifics, it was several years ago, but i remember the whole thing was beautiful & it ran very smoothly. but you should call, they are so nice there!

Well the bathroom is in there, so I'd imagine people wander in for that
