Fairfield Inn on Jericho in Syosset is definitely the closest and was I think $115 for the hotel block....I am doing the Holiday Inn - Plainview. It was $130 per night and a little further east off the LIE but they had a shuttle (though I'm not sure they have it yet -- I think they promised by February) and a bar that stays open til 2am.

The Viana Hotel and Spa. We are getting Married at the Milleridge, and our block is there. The hotel is brand new, and totally gorgeous. It's also about 3 minutes from the Milleridge. FM me if you would like any info, we got a great rate!

Hampton Inn Jericho-Westbury. It's on Jericho Turnpike by Brush Hollow Road on the North Side.
They gave us a block for $139 per night but that includes hot breakfast each morning and a shuttle to and from the RH. If you don't need the shuttle I think it was $119 per night but that depends on the time of year, i'm sure.
Also, the rooms sleep up to 6 since they have 2 queens and a pullout couch HTH
Call and speak to Samantha George. You can go to visit the rooms at any time and they have the maintenance guy bring you around. Hotel is new (only about 1 year old) and has an indoor pool, gym, and business center.

Re: Milleridge Inn - Hotels recs?
These were already mentioned - the Viana hotel and Hampton Inn (they're very close to one another) both quoted me $139. I'm booking with the Viana - basically because it's brand new, has a salon, and a restaurant & bar in the hotel - I'll have a lot of out of country guests, and the bar/restaurant are necessary! The Hampton Inn doesn't have either...

Re: Milleridge Inn - Hotels recs?
we blocked at the Four Points by Sheraton in Plainview. its easy on/off from the LIE so it was really easy for our guests to get to and from. we provided a shuttle too. rooms were large too.
