Milleridge Inn vs. GWM

Okie, I'm on a roll ladies...sorry for all the posts. I seem to remember reading more negative things about Milleridge Inn (i.e. dealing with the staff) than GWM, though I'm sure neither of them are big on negotiations. Fine by me in that respect, because I think their packages are great. Can anyone tell me more about the two? Thanks! Lisa

P.S. I'm talking about the Carriage House.

Are the two venues comparable size-wise? I thought GWM was a much smaller place so I never looked at it. I like the cottage myself!

Yea, the GWM has a smaller room called the President's Room. That and the Cottage both have a minimum of 75. My problem is that I love open/airy spaces with lots of windows. Lisa

I went to the Milleridge in Oct for a wedding it was nice. No complaints from me or the bride. GWM I thought was nice and the food was good. Price was good. But, I was not fond of their chapel. So, if you are having a church wedding I would go ahead with either one.
