I have been thinking the same thing as you-- but from pictures I have seen at all times of year they come out amazing at the cottage--

Lisa and Laura,

You might think about going to the Muttontown Preserve. Going north on Rt. 106, it's on the left, not too far from the Milleridge. I'd say within three miles. I don't know what it will look like in April, but with the right 'tricks' maybe the photographer could work something nice out. (Going even farther north, you'd hit some harbors and marinas). Good Luck!

I hope it works out for you. Muttontown is horse country, and the Muttontown Preserve has always been a peaceful place to ride through. There is a big clearing in the Preserve at the gate on Rte 106, which they recently re-did. Let me know what you think.

It is 10/28 at the Miller Place Inn. Time has just flewn and we are so excited but mostly in shock that it's almost here! The next year will fly for you. I hate saying that because everyone says it but it's very true!

I love to help so let me know if you have any questions.

Roslyn might be farther than you want to go. I'm not exactly sure of the town, but if you take Rte. 106 north, go through Rte. 25A and continue going north, you will come to a cute little town. There is a harbor and town park there. Sorry this is so vague, but I haven't been up that way in a while. If you're up for a drive one day, just take Rte. 106 north, all the way, and see where it takes you. I think it would still be shorter than heading off into Roslyn.
