Just a quick question.....You were so helpful in the past with the church song selections....we just met with our music director and chose our songs...I am just realiziing now thought that on the paper to fill out there was a song to choose for the exchanging of the rings, to which she did not ask us to choose one...my question is, does that song lead into or follow another where it would have been unnecessary to choose a particular one for this? Like maybe communion or the offertory? I appreciate your help TIA

I've never heard of a song being sung/played during the exchange of rings, b/c you're speaking during it! I'd be that if music is going to be played, she'll probably just play something instrumental so as not to distract from what the priest is saying.
