Mini Honeymoon

Since FH and I are getting married in the Summer, and the week before 4th of July, we don't really want to go ALL out on a honeymoon to the Carribean since it's really nice here, but we want to go away? At first we were thinking a weekend in Montauk, etc.

But, FH has NEVER been to Las Vegas, I have twice, and like it, so we were thinking about going for 3-4 days? Monday-Thursday after the wedding and being back in time for 4th of July? What does everyone think?

Be careful with vacations like that. A few days before a holiday often cost more then a week away with all activities included. Air and hotel prices always go up around the holidays. Plus- they don't pay out very well during the week.

I say go to Montauk for a few days and save Vegas for another time.
