Mini Honeymoon Recommendation Please!

I'm getting married in October and since my FH and I are both teachers we're waiting until June/July for our 'real' honeymoon. So we want to take a mini honeymoon Columbus Day weekend after our wedding. We're thinking of going to Florida because it'll be warm and not too far away, but we're overwhelmed with choosing a location.

Any Florida recommendations?? (Or anywhere else) Location or hotel recommendation would be really appreciated! We want something romantic and quiet on the beach.

If you are open to staying on the east coast I highly recommend a gorgeous B and B in Cape Cod. It is called the Captain's House Inn. It has all different themed rooms and suites. They also serve a breakfast and afternoon tea everyday that is to DIE for.
The whole area is gorgeous too and has lots of great restaurants/activities/

last year my FH and I stayed at a B and B upstate early october. gorgeous this time of year. we went apple and pumpkin picking and did a few haunted houses. we had an amazing weekend!

i too love B&B's on Cape Cod. But if you want warmer climate, you can check out this place. Ive never been but want to visit since i love Vera Bradley bags and the B&B is well rated and looks super cute!! Its called inn By The Sea in Seaside, Florida.
