MINI MOON

Never heard of a 'mini moon'....is this a vacay before the Honeymoon? Just curious!

I would def go out to Montauk!

a mini honeymoon... i've seen/heard alot of people doing that instead of big honeymoon's. We'll go away when the weather here is warm. I just dont think I'll enjoy a warm climate coming from a warm climate?, if that makes any sense.

I am leaning more towards Montauk everyday.

I was going to say montaulk too!! The name escapes me now but someone told me about a place with Nest inthe name . . . crows nest maybe? I don´t know but they said it was nice. they do weddings there to for a good price. I was thinking of having mine there because its right on the beach but decided against it. It´s a little too out of the way. but it may be nice to stay at. I´ll try to find the name and let you know. but i think anywhere on montaulk is nice.

My only reservation with Montauk is the quality of what you get for the money. I stayed there for a long weekend 2 years ago and couldn't believe what a dump the place I stayed at turned out to be! We stayed 3 nights and paid well over $1k for the room (not SUPER expensive, but not cheap either) and it was horrible! It seriously hadn't been touched since the late 70's, the sheets were almost see-through they were so worn. We were right on the ocean and had a pool right infront of our room, the view was awesome, but the room . . . UGH! Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the place. I would just make sure you do A LOT of research before you go! I expected a much better room for the money!
